@JCafé Version of ABC Soup

Finally decided to keep track on my culinary journey and also to create a log on recipes that my love and myself loves..

This ABC soup recipe was from my mother and I have personalized it to my own preference and my husband love this version which he claim as his ultimate comfort food.  This is great to eat while piping hot and during raining days.

Ingredients:
500g of spare ribs - washed and blanched
200g of soft bones if available - Optional, washed and blanched
4 medium local ripe tomatoes - cut into small cubes
2 medium yellow onions - chopped roughly
2 big carrots - cut into small cubes
3 big or 4 small local potatoes - cut into large cubes
1 ltr cold water
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 pinch of salt to taste

Method:
In a big pot, throw in all ingredients except for soy sauce and salt and bring to boil.

Once the soup come up to a full boil, bring the fire down to slow simmer or leave soup in slow cooker and select high and let it cook for at least 3 hours.

After 3 hours, add in soy sauce and salt to taste and serve hot with rice.
